Babyfood supplier Hipp Organic is launching its first tray meals for older tots as it introduces 22 new SKUs across its product range.
Hipp is hoping to tap the 7.7% year-on-year growth in tray meals [IRI 52 w/e 14 June] with 230g chilli con carne and macaroni recipes, which are aimed at children aged 18 months to three years.
“Consumer demand for convenience, quality and variety is at an all-time high,” said group project manager Andy Lewis.
Having launched 14 pouched products in 2013, Hipp is adding two muesli, fruit and yoghurt mixes to the range this month and 10 more later this year.
Hipp is also launching four new jars, two juices and two flavour pots.
