Luxury spirit company Rémy Cointreau has appointed the former CEO of Louis Vuitton Europe to head its cognac division House of Rémy Martin.
Eric Vallat replaces Patrick Piana, whose shock departure was announced last week.
The news came only three weeks after group CEO Frédéric Pflanz resigned for personal reasons.
The company is still seeking a CEO to head the group.
