HP is launching a new Hot Sauces range that it claims offers a better balance of flavour to heat than other sauces on the market.
The Heinz-owned brand said the sauces, which come in three flavours - Slightly Hot smokey chilli, Rather Hot jalapeno & lime and Seriously Hot red chilli & honey, had flavour as well as heat and would appeal to consumers with adventurous tastes.
"While there are number of hot and spicy sauces launching into the market, many of these focus on heat ahead of flavour, Sarah Brown, HP brand manager, said.
"HP is a trusted and recognisable brand and HP Hot Sauces deliver the distinctive flavours that consumers are looking for, with heat and the degree of 'oomph' that they want."
The range is being rolled out nationally later this month, rsp £1.59, and will be supported by TV and print media advertising later this year.
