The figure is a "conservative estimate" of how much customers will save through buy-one-get-one-free (BOGOF) offers and meal deals at Iceland in January and February, said a spokeswoman.
"We've launched into 2003 with a fantastic package of deals for our customers and we wanted to shout about it," she added.
The giveaway message is displayed in stores and flyers.
