Iceland is revamping its Bonus Card so it offers a host of new incentives to keep customers shopping at the frozen food chain.
New features will include targeted promotions and cash discounts on the back of receipts that are based on a shopper’s previous buying patterns - ensuring they get deals on the products they usually buy.
The new card, which launches on 12 September, can also be used as a savings card. It also entitles shoppers to use Iceland’s home delivery service.
The 2.9 million existing Bonus Card holders will be sent one card and two swipeable key fobs next week. Instant prizes, offers and money-off coupons can be printed at the till.
