Improvethatprice.com, a price comparison site for caterers, has created a data analytics tool that allows users to track product prices.

ITP Analytics, launched last week, helps subscribers keep track of the promotional, cash & carry, click & collect and delivered prices at more than 60 suppliers including Bidvest 3663, JJ Foodservice, Booker and Costco.

It is initially being trialled across drinks but will be extended to thousands of food, catering and cleaning equipment as well as packaging lines later this year.

“It’s been a massive investment,” said the site’s co-founder, Yoni Cohen. “Having been in the food business before, I found it very difficult to compare prices.”
