Finance role for Gray
Naan and flatbread producer Honeytop Speciality Foods has appointed Duncan Gray as financial controller. Gray joins Honeytop from Next Retail, where he was a finance manager focused on travel expense management.
Leahy stays on board
Sir Terry Leahy, chief executive of Tesco, is to remain on the board of Liverpool Vision, the Liverpool city centre urban regeneration company, for a further three years. He has been a board member since 1999. Sir Joe Dwyer, chairman of Liverpool Vision, said: "We are delighted that Terry has agreed to serve on the board for another three years. He makes a valuable contribution."
JS role for Stephen
Sainsbury's has appointed Stuart Stephen as head of pensions. Stephen takes up his new role from October and joins from Barclays Bank, where he was director of pensions. He has also worked for Scottish Power and Coats Viyella. Imelda Walsh, Sainsbury's HR director, said: "Stuart's extensive experience will be an asset to the company."
Winery appointment
Buckingham Vintners has appointed Andy Rawlinson as national account manager. Rawlinson joins Buckingham Vintners from Western Wines, where he was a national account manager responsible for several key accounts that included the wholesale sector. He replaces Doug Brown, who has left to pursue other interests outside the trade.
Miller quits Parfetts
Robert Miller, financial director for Parfetts Cash & Carry, has retired after 20 years with the company. Miller joined Parfetts as company accountant in 1986. Steve Parfett, MD of Parfetts, said: "Robert has been an asset to Parfetts and, having been with us for such a long time, he is regarded as an honorary member of the Parfett family."
