Innocent Drinks has added a new summer recipe, Cherries & Strawberries, to its smoothies portfolio. The drink will be available from June to September in Sainsbury, Waitrose, Somerfield, Budgens and independent stores, priced from £1.75 to £1.99.
Surf gets cool
Unilever UK Home and Personal Care has added Surf Cool Fresh to its portfolio, available in powder, tablet and liquid formats. It comes in aqua blue livery with scratch-and-sniff stickers on the pack. A digital campaign on the Surf web site will begin next month.
Kit Kat for Big Bro
Nestlé Rowntree is hiding 1,000 £10 notes in packets of its original Polo mints from May 29. In a separate promotion, the company is also placing 100 golden tickets in Kit Kat four-finger and Chunky bars. Finders of the tickets will get a chance to become a housemate in this season's Big Brother.
Brazils all year
Fans of gift chocolate brand Just Brazils will now be able to indulge in a treat size pack throughout the year. The 60g individual foil-wrapped packs will be available from next month, priced at £1.09.
Ethical loo paper
The Co-operative Group has introduced an own-label Forest Stewardship Council-approved Quilted Soft Bathroom Tissue - priced at £1.99 for four rolls - to its ethically sourced products. The FSC label guarantees the paper comes from responsibly managed forests.
Filtration debut
Water filtration brand Aqua Optima makes its TV debut this summer with an advert to coincide with the launch of a range of kettles that use the Aqua Optima system. Owner Strix will roll out replacement cartridges later in the year.
