Marketing and distribution company Spring Fine Foods has brought out Indian Chai Tea in a soft drink format.
The lightly sparkling drink consists of a blend of fruit and tea in peach, banana, lemon and grapefruit flavours.
Currently in leisure outlets and vending machines and available for retail, the bottles come in mixed cases of 12.
Like its traditional hot beverage relation, the new drink boasts a high level of antioxidants which are said to have health benefits.
Sales director Trevor Stroud described the launch as "a modern and healthy addition to the soft drinks market".
It follows the £5m relaunch of Lipton Ice Tea in April this year, which included ads based around the slogan Don't knock it till you've tried it'.
