Smoothie maker Innocent Drinks says it has cut its carbon footprint by 15% just six months after joining the Carbon Trust's eco-labelling scheme.
The company said it had cut emissions by switching to 100%-recycled plastic bottles .
Four recipes are available in the recycled bottles, with the rest of the range set to join them in January.
The company also said it had been encouraging suppliers to investigate ways of being greener. As a result, one of its co-packers had achieved a 54% reduction in waste to landfill.
Innocent was one of the first companies to sign up to the Carbon Trust's scheme.
