Innovation First, producer of the Hexbug toy range, will be bringing its hi-tech approach to model cars this summer.
The Tagamoto range comprises pieces of road and small model cars that, like the existing Hexbug Nano toys, are propelled by a battery-powered vibrating motor.
The cars have working headlights and tail lights, and a barcode-reading system that reacts to codes placed on the roads with lights, sounds and movement.
Eight cars will be sold individually (rsp: £7.99), while others will be part of the: road set with car and 20 accessories (rsp: £14.99) city set with car and 40 accessories (rsp: £19.99) or Enforcer set of two cars and 65 accessories (rsp: £29.99).
Innovation First will be rolling out larger versions of its radio-controlled Hexbug Spider and Scarab toys this summer.
