Jacob’s has signed up cheese-loving animated characters Wallace and Gromit as part of a £4m marketing campaign for its crackers.
Brand manager Nathan King said the deal represents the largest ever investment in the Jacob’s crackers portfolio.
King added that the tie-up was planned to run for several years "up to and beyond" a new Wallace and Gromit feature film, due to be released in September 2005.
From the end of October consumers will be in with a chance to win one of 10 VIP trips to New York by collecting on-pack tokens from the range.
