Jacob’s Creek is set to bring Le Petit Rosé, its French-inspired rosé brand, to the UK.
The 12.4% abv wine rolls out from October, having launched in Australia eight months ago (rsp: £8/750ml).
It would tap “a growing trend for lighter-style rosé”, which was “proving to be a key emerging wine choice for shoppers, including younger consumers who are eager to try new styles and wish to enhance their sophistication among friends” said Jacob’s Creek.
The launch will be supported by digital and social activity.
It comes as Jacob’s Creek added £20m to its value over the past year, growing 23.7% to £107m, on volumes up 26.8% [IRI 52 w/e 22 July 2017].
