Spar wholesaler James Hall has introduced three new flavours and refreshed packaging as part of an overhaul of its sandwich range.
The wholesaler, which produces more than 21,000 sandwiches a day, has added Simply Bacon, Mega Breakfast and Mixed Triple to its core range, which is priced between £1.75 and £2.95.
The wholesaler will be also release four flavours on a three-week cycle, allowing its network of more than 600 independent and company-owned stores to benefit from a varied rotation of flavours.
“We have refreshed the packaging of 20 Spar brand sandwiches, helping customer favourites to stand out on the shelf, create theatre in-store and complement our existing range of food-to-go items,” said James Hall & Co sales and marketing director Peter Dodding.
“Three new flavours will be added to our core range of Spar-branded sandwiches and wraps: Simply Bacon; Mega Breakfast and Mixed Triple, which features a variety of bacon, chicken and ham sandwiches.
“A selection of 12 sandwiches will also be available for Spar retailers to order on three-week cycles. Each cycle will include four delicious flavours, which will then be replaced with another four once the period has finished. The first wave of flavours available will be Simply Chicken & Sweetcorn; Smoked Ham & Egg Sub; Spicy Cheese & Coleslaw and Curried Egg.
