Frederick's Dairies, producer of Cadbury ice creams is bringing more big Cadbury names into the ice cream arena and doubling the range's support spend to £1m.
Cadbury's Bournville Ice Cream vanilla ice cream in Bournville chocolate joins the range (rsp: £1.00; £1.99 for a pack of three), as do four fruit flavoured Bassett's Jelly Babies lollies with chewy jelly centres.
Cadbury's Caramel ice cream gets a new variant caramel ice cream with caramel sauce dipped in milk chocolate. (rsp: £1.00).
Support includes price promotions, PoS material and posters. Marketing director Peter Elvin said the range, which includes Cadbury's Dairy Milk ice cream and Cadbury's Flake cones, would also benefit from Cadbury's confectionery advertising. He predicted retail sales of £32m, up 23% on last year.
