Indie supermarket chain Jempson’s is to refit three of its five stores.
The Sussex retailer plans to refit its Battle supermarket in May followed by Rye at the end of the year. It will revamp Peasmarsh in 2016.
The activity follows the end of Jempson’s contract with Musgrave in March last year. Joint MD Stephen Jempson said this had allowed it to “concentrate solely on our own brand, offering standard pricing and ranges across all stores”.
