Fuel brand Jet has launched a new food-to-go and coffee concept for its forecourt network.
The Snack on the Go display provides hot food, drinks, treats and chilled items to drive footfall.
The concept, created in partnership with Expresso Plus, offers an adaptable coffee, tea and food-to-go solution with brands including Lavazza, PG Tips, Nescafé and Country Choice.
“We’re always looking to help Jet dealers drive footfall on to their forecourts and we believe Snack on the Go will do just that,” said Jet transport and retail contracts manager Stuart Cufflin.
“With the continued trend toward forecourts becoming convenience destinations, coffee and food to go present strong commercial opportunities that dealers can - and should - be taking advantage of.”
Expresso Plus marketing manager Lauren Tyler added: “The demand for food to go in the convenience sector has seen 33% year-on-year growth.
“Breakfast to go has seen the highest increase with 64% of consumers buying a hot drink with their purchase. Forecourts are ideally placed to capitalise on this trend.”
