JJ Food Service has bought its seventh branch as it looks for business in the West and South Wales.
The company picked up the keys to the 35,575 sq ft warehouse in Emersons Green, Bristol, last week and began fitting it out on Monday. JJ paid £3.2m for the site and will spend another £1.9m kitting it out. It plans to start trading in November.
"This will strengthen current distribution by offering additional delivery days and extending delivery areas," said CEO Mustafa Kiamil.
JJ was also on the hunt for property in Scotland, Kiamil added.
