JJ Foodservice is actively on the lookout for new acquisitions, as it prepares to ‘step up’ its expansion strategy.
The wholesaler is after businesses “of any size” with turnover from £8m to £80m.
That includes specialist companies operating in markets where JJ wants to expand its presence, including Korean, Japanese, alcohol, and fish & chips.
JJ Foodservice is preparing its next steps to grow, following the “successful” acquisition of specialist supplier Gatelands Supplies.
The acquisition added over 400 Thai products to JJ’s new range, and gave Gatelands’ existing customers access to the wholesaler’s 3,000-strong portfolio.
“The success of Gatelands Supplies has demonstrated our ability to execute acquisitions efficiently and deliver value for both new and existing customers,” said JJ COO Kaan Hendekli.
“We’re actively exploring opportunities with other businesses and are eager to build on this momentum to expand into additional sectors.
“We’re focusing on businesses that complement our vision of delivering exceptional quality and service to the foodservice market,” he added.
“Expanding into new categories and cuisines is key to meeting the evolving needs of our customers. Our doors are open for any discussions around potential collaborations in the future.”
