After a year long search, Baxters has taken on Grahame Smith as sales director UK and Ireland. He joins from SmithKline Beecham Nutritional Healthcare. Goodlife Foods, frozen vegetarian food specialist, has appointed Nick Bianchi as sales director. He previously worked for sales broker PA Ross where he managed key customers for Goodlife Foods. Colin Stump, executive director at Mansfield Brewery, has been appointed to the board of Wolverhampton & Dudley Breweries. Mansfield Brewery was taken over by its rival just before Christmas. Budgens has appointed Ray Kwist logistics director and he takes up a place on the Budgens stores board. Kwist takes over from Steve Back who, last year, was appointed to the Budgens plc board as finance and logistics director designate. Richard Hare has also joined the supermarket group as company secretary. Wincanton Logistics has announced new appointments in its retail division. Former business unit director Andy Collis becomes operations director; Ross Bannerman is promoted to general manager of the new Safeway regional distribution centre in Northampton; and Gilbert Clarke has been appointed distribution centre manager at Bathgate. {{INSIDE BACK COVER }}
