John Lewis Partnership, the parent company of Waitrose, is planning a 10-year expansion to double the size of its business and create 35,000 jobs.
The group plans to increase its workforce from 65,000 to 100,000 by 2017 and double revenue from £6bn to £12bn.
“We have agreed our commitment to double the sales of the partnership over the next 10 years,” John Lewis development director Mark Price told the Daily Telegraph.
