Ex-Appleby Westward boss John Pattison returns as sales director of Budgens

Musgrave GB has appointed former Appleby Westward MD John Pattison as sales director for Budgens.

Pattison, who joined Musgrave on 24 September, has more than 25 years’ experience in the sector, having spent three years as MD of Spar wholesaler Appleby Westward before resigning in 2011.

He has also worked for DWG Foods and Somerfield in a number of operational and leadership roles including MD for retail.

“We are delighted John has decided to join the team,” said Budgens MD Donal Horgan. “His wealth of experience in the convenience and independent retail sector will help Budgens retailers drive sales.”
