TV presenter and campaigner June Sarpong looks set to launch ‘The Africa Company’, a range of food, drinks and household products.
She has registered the name – and an Africa-shaped logo – with the International Property Office under class 3, which covers toiletries and cleaning products; class 5 covering food supplements and vitamins; class 30 featuring teas, coffees and food products; class 32 for beers and non-alcoholic drinks; and class 42 for hosting an online e-commerce platform.
The Grocer has approached Sarpong’s agent for comment.
In 2019 Sarpong was appointed by the BBC as its director of creative diversity.
