Jungle Formula has developed a new insect repellent suited for use in Britain’s soggy summers.

The Jungle Formula Outdoor & Camping repellent, available now, is made for use in “less extreme climates” such as the UK. It is said to provide up to six hours’ protection against biting insects (rsp: £6.99/75ml pump spray).

It was launched in reaction to the rise in biting insects brought about by wet and warm weather, said brand owner Omega Pharma.

“Jungle Formula is no longer only used in the jungle. There is clearly a need here in the UK too,” said marketing manager Louise White.

Omega Pharma is supporting the launch with a £500,000 campaign.
