In September the bi-monthly magazine Junior is to become a monthly.
Beach Magazines' publisher Chris Taggart said: "Having created a new market for readers and advertisers, we feel the area is sufficiently developed to move to a monthly frequency."
The change will be supported by a national press advertising campaign to break on August 5.
This will be coupled with a special promotion in association with the Sunday Times.
There will also be a direct marketing campaign targeted at some 150,000 consumers to publicise Junior's new monthly frequency and attract new readers to the magazine.
On sale August 4, the first monthly issue will be bagged up and offer a covermounted children's Shopping Bible' sponsored by Laura Ashley.
Junior's cover price will also be reduced from £2.80 to £2.50).
