Del Monte is squeezing berries onto convenience store drinks shelves.
Cranberry Just Juice
joins the orange, apple and pineapple varieties already on sale, in both 200ml and one-litre cartons, at rsp 40p and 99p respectively. The 200ml pack currently has a 20% extra free promotion.

manager Beatrice de Montille said: "Cranberry flavour already accounts
for 7.2% of the total market, however it only accounts for 3.5% market share in the impulse sector [ACNielsen, MAT to 17 June 2006].
"As a 100% impulse
brand, Just Juice is in a strong position to fill the gap and unlock its growth potential among consumers on the move."
Del Monte currently has
a 21% share of the total ambient fruit juice market in impulse and the company hopes to drive more growth in the sector by
tapping into the increasing consumer awareness around the health
benefits of cranberries.
