Justin King, Judith Batchelar, Dame Kelly Holmes and Andrew Moore will be among the speakers when The Leadership Symposium 2016 returns on 29 November.
Taking place at the Rothamsted Research Centre, themes discussed will include technology, innovation, emerging talent, how to generate efficiency, the link between quality and sales, and the nature of leadership itself.
“Its unique content, style and delivery left me feeling I had gained real personal value out of the conference,” said Vimto CEO Marnie Millard of the first event last year. “It was the best use of an afternoon in a long time”. This year, Lord Stuart Rose’s ‘Legendary Interview’ will explore current topics such as Brexit and today’s retail scene.
Weetabix CEO Giles Turrell said the Leadership Symposium was a “fantastic event to hear from experienced leaders across the industry. With the many joint issues we face, from the economy, day-to-day trading, to Brexit, this is a wonderful opportunity to hear from such a distinguished line-up. I encourage everyone to sign up with the added benefit that a great deal of money is raised for our charity, GroceryAid.”
The day will also include a session from strategic consultancy Newton, who will explore the efficiency opportunity sat in supply chain, specifically in our factories and shops.
Leendert den Hollander, vice president & general manager at CCE, said: “there are three very clear reasons as to why we support the Leadership Symposium. Firstly, the dialogue and interaction on key leadership issues is second to none - just look at the speakers! Secondly, there is a real opportunity to learn from others. And ultimately, all the while we are supporting two great causes”.
All proceeds will go to two fmcg-related charities: GroceryAid and Working Options in Education. For tickets, call 01865 823895 or email pauljmonk@inventabrand.com.
