Organic specialist Kallo Foods is extending its portfolio with a premium rice cakes range to "add a bit of luxury" to the healthy snacks fixture.
Available now, the new line-up consists of Sea Salt & Balsamic Vinegar, Mature Cheddar & Chive, Sea Salt & Cracked Black Pepper and A Hint of Chilli flavours in jumbo (rsp: £1.59) and mini, 25g rice cake sizes (rsp: 59p).
Free from artificial colours, flavours and preservatives, the range would cash in on consumer demand for "healthy snacks that don't compromise on flavour" and broaden Kallo's market appeal, said brand manager Lauren Smith.
"It will also ensure there is a flavoured rice cake to suit every occasion," she added.
The premium range will benefit from a £1m marketing spend earmarked for the total Kallo portfolio, including a TV campaign and online activity this autumn.
