Classical singer Katherine Jenkins has made a guest appearance in the latest instalment of M&S’s 2024 Christmas ad, singing Deck the Halls.
The fifth episode of M&S’s 2024 festive campaign – which aired on 17 December – sees Dawn French declaring she feels “Christmassy enough” as she samples M&S desserts, when Jenkins enters with a Christmas choir.
“She is Christmas, isn’t she,” says French, who features as herself for the first time in M&S’s ad this year, as well as the voice of the Christmas fairy.

Jenkins said: “Singing at Christmas is always such a special experience for me, and to bring that joy to M&S’s magical advert was truly an honour.
“M&S Food is always at the heart of any celebration for me and my family, offering everything to make every moment extra special.
“As a Food ambassador, I’m so delighted to be part of the M&S family, especially with my Cygnet gin stocked in 200 stores nationwide.
