Certain brands of Kellogg's cereal sold in the UK have come under fire for containing higher levels of salt and sugar than in the US.
Health campaigners found that in the UK, Kellogg's All-Bran had 133% more salt than in the US, and that Special K sold in the UK had 31% more sugar than in the US.
A spokeswoman for Kellogg said: “The reason is mainly because of taste differences across the world. Our products aren't high in sugar and salt and we have been reducing the salt and sugar in our products in line with government policy.”
