Kellogg’s executive Elisabeth Fleuriot has been appointed as the new CEO of John West’s parent MW Brands.
Fleuriot will start her new role at MW Brands on 26 August 2013, replacing founder Adolfo Valsecchi, who will retire on 31 July.
Fleuriot, who has over 35 years’ experience in multinational companies, has previously held the position of senior vice president, emerging markets at Kellogg’s – with her geographic responsibility stretching from Russia to South Africa. She has also worked at Danone and Yoplait.
Fleuriot was a truly international and strategic business leader with extensive experience in food, said Thiraphong Chansiri, MW Brands chairman. “I am confident Elisabeth will bring all her experience and positive energy to drive this business forward.”
Fleuriot is also a non-executive board member of Carlsberg and paper and packaging company Stora Enso.
