UK-based artisan producer Kent & Fraser is rolling out a gluten-free “cracker-biscuit hybrid” to major retailers.
The four-strong Criscuit thin-cut cheese savoury selection will be available from Ocado in February in Cracked Black Pepper & Smoked Sea Salt, Hot Chilli Pepper, Coriander & Lime, Grill-Roasted Onion & Nigella Seeds, and Oak Smoked Garlic & Black Poppy Seeds variants (rsp: £2.45/110g).
The gluten, wheat, egg and GMO-free range, which rolled out in independents and delicatessens last month, will also be stocked in Harrods from January. “Avoiding gluten shouldn’t mean avoiding great-tasting food,” said Kent & Fraser founder John Selby.
