Kerry Foods Direct to Store has opened a regional distribution centre in Swindon in response to growing demand.
The 60,000 sq ft warehouse adds to the company’s Manchester RDC, which serves the north of England.
The new depot houses brands such as Wall’s, Mattessons and Tropicana and will serve the south.
The development has led to the creation of more than 100 jobs, mostly in despatch, but including HR and admin.
Michael Bassett, MD of KFDTS, said: “The move signals our intention to grow the business long-term and will give confidence to our customers that we are committed to the highest level of service.”
