red, naturally Upmarket hand-cooked snacks producer Kettle Chips has brought colour to the super-premium sector with new Natural Reds coloured crisps. The first in a Kettle Chips Specials range, the newcomers are made from a unique variety of red potato specially propagated and developed by the company which, it says, has a slightly nutty flavour. Ingredients also include pure safflower oil ­ said to be the healthiest and most flavour enhancing oil for this type of potato ­ and sea salt. The new gold and red packs are backed by shelf barkers, flyers and sampling. "Natural Reds underpin our real food values," said senior brand manager Louisa Grant. "Our care in sourcing the right ingredients is epitomised by their development from scratch." {{P&P }}
