KFC has launched a new drinks range called ‘Kwench’ which will only be available in restaurants in Manchester.
The chain is introducing eight new speciality drinks to “pair with your favourite fried chicken” or drink as a sweet treat.
The new menu features four types of “speciality” drinks: lemonades in sparkling raspberry and spicy mango flavours; Poppin’ Refreshers containing popping pearls available in cherry and watermelon flavours; Krunch Shakes containing sweet toppings including chocolate and caramel; and Iced Coffee Krunch iced lattes with flavoured syrups and crunchy toppings.
KFC introduced the new limited-edition range as a response to “growing customer demand” for a “sweet treat in drinkable form”.
The new Kwench range will be available across 38 Manchester stores from 27 January for a limited time.
“We’re excited to launch Kwench by KFC in Manchester, the very first city to experience our bold step into the growing speciality beverage category,” said KFC UK&I strategy and innovation director Dhiren Karnani.
“We know that for Gen Z, drinks choice is a key factor when deciding which food brand to visit. That’s why we created Kwench by KFC: a freshly prepared drinks range designed to cater to every craving, from refreshing pick-me-ups to indulgent shakes. Packed with craveable, visually stunning flavours, this launch is set to solidify KFC as the ultimate destination for Gen Z.”
