KFC is planning to recruit over 700 permanent members of staff across the UK as it anticipates “a busy festive period”.
The recruitment is the biggest seasonal push for the chain in the past years.
The fast food giant is hiring for a variety of positions, including customer-facing team members and kitchen staff, and it is encouraging people to apply “regardless of experience”.
New staff members will be able to start immediately ahead of the Christmas rush.
The new recruits will join KFC’s current 30,000-strong workforce.
“We’re really excited to be growing our restaurant teams to help serve up KFC’s delicious fried chicken to customers at our busiest time of year,” said KFC chief people officer Kathryn York.
“These roles are a fantastic opportunity for anyone who wants to learn and build a career in a fun, energetic and supportive environment, where people are recognised for their potential above all else.”
The drive to recruit more staff members follows KFC’s target to open 500 new restaurants across the UK in the next decade. The expansion is set to create 20,000 jobs across the country.
