KFC is opening its first new site of the year at one of London’s top entertainment venues, The O2 in Greenwich.
The new KFC site will be the chain’s new flagship restaurant, with almost 200 seats available across two floors.
It will be located inside The O2’s ‘Entertainment District’, placed to serve both the arena and the shopping centre.
The new opening will create 50 new jobs, including team leader and management roles.
“As one of the capital’s most iconic entertainment venues, The O2 is the perfect home for KFC,” said KFC UK&I chief development officer James Whitehorn.
“Whether you’re getting a late-night bite after a show, or a lighter lunch while browsing the shops, we can’t wait to serve up the UK’s favourite fried chicken to customers. We’re thrilled to be expanding our London footprint with this flagship opening, and we can’t wait to open our doors very soon.”
