Kingsland Drinks has expanded its Shorn range of wine pouches with a new 1.5-litre malbec pouch.
The pouch - the third in the lineup - has launched into Morrisons. The range also includes a Californian pinot grigio and a shiraz, which are both available in Tesco (rsp: £11).
The malbec was “smooth, rich and jam-packed with ripe black fruit and a hint of cherry”, said Kingsland Drinks.
The pouch keeps the wine inside fresh for up to four weeks after opening.
It comes on the back of research by Kingsland and YouGov that the supplier claims revealed 1.5-litre pouches trumped other alternative formats when rated by consumers - particularly younger drinkers.
This was thanks to the size, which made it “practical for sharing, as well as the practicality and convenience of the tap”.
