Kingsland Drinks MD Sarah Baldwin

Baldwin has been with Purity for nearly seven years

Greater Manchester-based wine and spirits business Kingsland Drinks Group has announced the appointment of Sarah Baldwin as managing director.

Baldwin replaces Ed Baker, who left Kingsland last year to pursue a career outside of the drinks industry. She will step into the role in April, after a near seven-year stint as CEO at Purity Soft Drinks.

Prior to this, she was the managing director of Gü Puds, and has also worked for Arla and Asda.

Baldwin’s “extensive experience in drinks and the wider fmcg industry” would help Kingsland build on its position as “a competitive full-service drinks company”, said chairman Andy Sagar.

“We are confident that Sarah’s expertise and vision will continue to drive our company forward and help us deliver our long-term company vision – to build a better drinks industry and society,” Sagar added.

Kingsland Drinks is an employee-owned independent contract packer, bottler, distributor and creator of wine, spirits, and low & no-alcohol products.

Its portfolio of owned brands includes Mix Up RTD cocktails, Pod Pea Vodka and the Spanish wine brand Campaneo.
