Kit Kat is targeting evening snacking occasions with a trio of sharing tablets.
Double Chocolate, Salted Caramel and Hazelnut (rsp: £1.50/99g) feature multiple “break-off pieces”, making them “ideal for enjoying together with friends and family”.
They offered a “unique and multi-sensory eating experience thanks to their delicious light and creamy fillings”, said Kit Kat.
Double Chocolate features a cocoa-flavoured filling, covered with marbled milk and dark chocolate.
Salted Caramel has a salted caramel filling, covered with caramel-flavoured chocolate and marbled swirls.
Finally, Hazelnut contains a hazelnut-flavoured filling and is coated with swirled milk and dark chocolate.
The bars, which contain no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives, have hit Tesco, with a wider rollout planned for the coming weeks.
“In today’s non-stop world, it’s far too easy to let the evenings disappear in a blur,” said Kit Kat marketing manager Stephanie Scales.
“Kit Kat has always been about those feel-good breaks, and now with sharing bars we’re making it even easier to disconnect and reclaim your evenings.”
The Nestlé-owned brand has also added a four-finger bar for Hazelnut, and has promised “more exciting things to come in 2025”.
Value sales of Kit Kat grew by 9.9% to £10.5m, on volumes up 0.7%, in the year to 7 September 2024 [NIQ].
