Tesco is opening a Krispy Kreme doughnut concession at its Watford Extra hypermarket in early October.
The store within a store concept will include Krispy Kreme’s trademark doughnut theatre (where customers can see the doughnuts being made), a seating area and coffee.
Krispy Kreme currently has three outlets in the UK: a concession at Harrods, a standalone store in Enfield and a kiosk at Canary Wharf.
The aim is to build 25 in the next four years, said a spokeswoman.
