Halewood International has relaunched its Lamb’s Spiced rum.
Rolling out now, the overhauled drink is still made from 100% Caribbean rum, but the abv has been reduced by 7.5% to 30% to create a “smoother flavour” and is presented in a new hexagon-shaped bottle.
The updated liquid, which follows the re-positioning of stablemate Lamb’s Navy Rum earlier this year, is pitched as an ideal cocktail base and would resonate with the brand’s core consumer group, aged 24 to 35, said Halewood.
The relaunched variant has secured listings with 530 Tesco stores throughout the UK, as well as Molson Coors wholesale and Matthew Clark in the on-trade.
