Landmark Wholesale has extended its own label budget range Lifestyle Value with its first chilled lines.

Four cold meats, price marked at £1, 200ml orange and apple juice drinks marked at 25p, as well as tea bags, bring the number of lines in the range to 31.

“It gives independents a real point of difference - particularly important where local competition is fierce or where customers are buying on price alone,” said senior trading controller Jon Burton.
