Landmark Wholesale has recruited two new Irish members - Corrib Food Products and Express Foodservice (NI).
Corrib Food Products is an Irish foodservice wholesaler owned by five brothers - Stan, Fintan, Colm, John and Adrian Lawless. It delivers to customers across Ireland from depots in Ballycoolin and Ballincollig.
“We chose Landmark Wholesale because of the strength of its own label, its commitment to the future of catering and foodservice, and the quality of its membership,” said sales director Adrian Lawless.
“We are keen to continue expanding our business and felt Landmark’s professionalism and the way it conducts its business fitted most closely to our own.”
Express Foodservice (NI) was formed last year when MD Gerard Lafferty acquired Derry-based BAP Express Foodservices. It delivers across Northern Ireland and also operates a small C&C. “In today’s tough marketplace, you need to be in partnership with a major wholesale operator to benefit from their buying power and own label,” Lafferty said. “Landmark stood out from the crowd in all areas.”
The new recruits means Landmark Wholesale now has 37 members. “We’re delighted to welcome these two new members to the group,” said Landmark Wholesale MD Martin Williams. “Both are foodservice specialists delivering to large areas of Ireland, which gives us a great opportunity to increase our volumes on both branded and own-label products.”
