Marston's is hoping to repeat the success of its last two launches into the premium bottled ale market with a new brew, Late Hopped.
Late Hopped is already lined up as Sainsbury's Beer of the Month in May, selling at a competitive £1.29.
It will also be listed by Safeway and Morrisons.
Ian Pollitt, take home trade director at parent company Wolverhampton and Dudley, said: "We have had a huge thumbs up from supermarket buyers for Late Hopped. They are certain of its success because consumers always welcome a new beer from a brewer they know and trust."
The beer takes its name from the late addition of hops to the brewing process which gives it a characteristic nose and flavour.
It has already been a success in the on-trade as a guest beer.
Last year Marston's introduced Double Drop in April and New Fangled in August. Double Drop was Beer of the Month in Sainsbury in May and won listings in the other major multiples.
With the help of price promotions and gondola ends, sales rapidly exceeded company forecasts.
