The weird and wonderful world of grocery innovation was on show at the Sial d'Or competition judging in Paris this week.
The Grocer was one of 30 trade magazines from around the world that presented product launches across nine grocery categories. The launches will feature in the new products showcase at Sial in Paris on 17 October.
The winning innovations included cholesterol-lowering salad dressing from France, cryogenically frozen lemon fragments from South Africa and from Germany, a chicken sandwich that cooks from frozen in the toaster.
