Sir Terry Leahy, chief executive of Tesco, has been asked to join an international business advisory group set up to advise the government on how the UK can attract more investment from international companies.
Sir Terry, who joins a panel of 12 business leaders including Lee Scott, chief executive of US retailer Wal-Mart, said: I'm delighted to be serving British business in such a strong line-up of leaders.”
