Leon has expanded its grocery lineup with a swathe of ambient and frozen SKUs, inspired by its restaurant dishes.
Its new range of microwaveable pouches (rsp: £2.50/250g) comprises Keralan Lentil & Chickpea Curry, Brazilian Black Beans, Golden Lentil Dhal and Katsu Curry Beans.
Billed as a “versatile base for any meal”, the pouches are microwave ready in 90 seconds and feature serving suggestions on pack.
They will roll into Sainsbury’s, Ocado and Whole Foods Market on 3 March.
Following the successful launch of Leon’s Waffle Fries and GFC Nuggets into supermarkets, the healthier fast food chain is expanding its frozen range with Plant-Packed Hash Browns (rsp: £3.40/340g), Chunky Fish Fingers (rsp: £4.50/390g) and Chicken Thigh Burgers (rsp: £5/460g).
All three are suitable for cooking ovens and air fryers.
Plant-Packed Hash Browns will hit Sainsbury’s and Ocado on 24 March, while Chunky Fish Fingers and Chicken Thigh Burgers will launch at Asda and Ocado on 14 April. Chunky Fish Fingers will also roll into Sainsbury’s.
The new products fed into Leon’s 2025 grocery strategy “to bring bestsellers and fan favourites into the home”, and marked “a significant milestone for Leon Grocery with a 40% increase in distribution across the UK”, it said.
Leon head of grocery Miriam Rose said: “Our goal with these launches is to make it even easier for everyone to enjoy naturally fast food at home.
“We’ve taken the same care and passion that goes into every Leon restaurant dish and poured it into these new ranges, which reflect our commitment to providing food that tastes good, does you good, and supports the planet.”
