Healthier fast food brand Leon is expanding its grocery range into Asda and Ocado.
The range, which includes products such as Aioli Waffle Fries, Love Burger Slaw and a selection of dips, sauces and salads, hit Ocado earlier this month and is currently rolling out across Asda’s estate of stores.
Leon’s grocery brand debut came in 2019 as a Sainsbury’s-exclusive range of sauces, bread and dipping oils.
Over the years since, grocery has become an incresingly important part of its business, and it has expanded into numerous new categories including coffee and soups.
Leon isn’t the only restaurant brand significantly ramping up its supermarket presence at the moment. The likes of Carluccio’s, Cinnamon Kitchen and TGI Fridays have all launched retail ranges this year.
Peri peri chicken giant Nando’s, meanwhile, overtook Colman’s in sauce sales.
