Regional food group Taste of the West has reached an amicable agreement with Diane Lethbridge, the chief executive it dismissed in January.
Lethbridge accused the group of unfair dismissal and threatened to take her case to an industrial tribunal. However, Lethbridge and the organisation have now settled the dispute.
Chairman George Streatfeild said: “Diane’s integrity, both professional and personal, was never in question. Using her skill and knowledge of the regional food industry, Diane is moving on to new challenges.
Taste of the West wishes her every success.”
He added that the company was now seeking someone to replace her, although it was considering dividing the job into two roles.
